Wi-Fi Enabled Control For A Smarter Home
Zenos and Athena both come in a standard model and a Wi-Fi enabled smart model.
The Wi-Fi models unlock a range of smart features that make managing your heating a snap.
Firstly, all our Wi-Fi models come with a remote control included. These remotes can interact with both Athena and Zenos heaters, so you can create a functional setup that adapts to your different needs in different spaces.
Alternatively, you can use the Smart Life app on your phone to pair them to your Wi-Fi network. That makes them easy to control from anywhere in the world, as long as you have an internet connection.
Once paired to your WI-FI you can even control your heater through your voice alone, as they’re fully compatible with voice assistants like Amazon Alexa or Google Home. Sit back, relax and sort your heating out without fliting a finger.
This offers up exceptional peace of mind that no other heater can hope to match. Realise you’ve left the heater on in a panic as you drive to work? Just turn it off after you arrived.
There are a few extra features you’ll get with a Wi-Fi model, including:
- Open Window Detection Mode
- Multiple Power Level Options
- Timers And Scheduling
- Body Sensors (Athena Only)
All of these features are designed to make using your heater as seamless and stress free as possible.
If you want to keep things as simple as possible, then the standard models will suit you perfectly. You can turn these on or off, there’s no extra features to fiddle with. You’ll just turn the heater on when you need it and off when you don’t.
Zenos Or Athena?
Athena is built for the outdoors. With an IP65 rating, these heaters can handle the elements, and their powerful glowing filament means they can cut through wind to get you feeling warm fast. They’re ideal patio heaters, without relying on the clunky gas cylinder based designs of the past.
Zenos heaters are IP44 rated, so we’d advise they only get used in sheltered outdoor areas. Where they shine is in near-outdoor spaces, such as conservatories or garage conversions- anywhere that poor insulation might be more of an issue. They’re also amazing in large, open plan spaces where a smaller heater won’t do the job.
They’re a little more discrete than the Athena models, as they won’t produce a distinctive golden glow.
The Upgrades
Zenos and Athena are some of the most advanced bar heaters on the market. We’ve made some fantastic upgrades that are built around improving their durability and heat dissipation.
Firstly, both Athena and Zenos feature upgraded aluminium casing. This maximises their heat distribution, and reduces strain on their internal components. That improves their lifespan. They also feature Carbon Gen2 heating elements for improved efficiency.
Athena features a curved design which further improves on this heat distribution. You’ll be comfortable and warm without the more intense temperatures putting a strain on the system.
Zenos’ heating element is double insulated, which improves safety and reduces the risk of heat loss. Inside the heater there are robust heat sinks for extra safety.
If you choose a smart model, you’ll get an advanced 4K QPixel screen that puts emphasis on readability. You can tell at a glance exactly what your heater is doing.
